Dear Eyvind

I hope your walk along The Pilgrim's Path went well. I am the Englishman, Richard, who together with the Irishman, Andy, walked from Oslo to Trondheim, meeting you as we began on the 28th July.

Our walk took us 23 days, and was one of the greatest experiences of my life. The friendliness of the Norwegian people, and the beauty of the countryside, have given me a glimmering impression of Norway. I must thank you profusely for the booklets and guidance you gave us.
